Nov J-town Get Together-New Poll with Times

Alright, well from the looks of it, it's between two different restaurants for November 17th. Please tell me how many will be attending when you vote so that I can make the reservation for the right amount of people.

It'll be 3 of us, including my daughter. I picked 7 because I think that'll allow for Jon to come home and shower after work and give us plenty of time to get there.

I have to be honest... I do not feel excited about going to 'Altoona' in order to participate in a 'Johnstown' get-together.

The extra 1.5 hours of driving time is a turn-off.

I hate to filp-flop... I did say that any of the listed places are acceptable, and I will hold to that... but the more I think about it, the less likely I am to be interested in taking the extra time to drive all the way to Altoona.

I'm sorry you feel that way. At the last get together, we discussed the November meeting and everyone that attended said that restaurants in Altoona were fine. We're not making it a habit to go to Altoona, but the fact of the matter is, Johnstown is small and only has a few restuarants.

I have signed up for a pistol class near Pittsburgh that will run till 1730, which means the earliest I can be to Altoona is 1930 and Johnstown 1900. With that in mind, I will have to cancel any meeting for that date other than a 1900 Johnstown meeting. (even then I will still be wearing the sweet cologne of burnt powder)

I have really been looking forward to attending one of these J-town get-togethers, but with the unpredictability of my work schedule I have to give priority to the training.

If I can't make this one, hopefully I will be able to make the next meeting. (Dec or Jan @ Rey Acteca's?)

Well...since it's been a straight tie and things came up. Jon and I won't be able to make it tomorrow. I'm very sorry. We have to make a trip to Quantico tomorrow and I don't know how long it'll take. I sincerely apologize and I hope that we can do it in December. As long as it's before the 20th, Jon and I should be able to make it without a problem (provided it's not a drill weekend). Again, I trully am sorry.

As it turns out, we will be doing a night shoot this evening. This was not on the training schedule, and offered as a bonus. As a result, I will not be able to get into J-town untill 8pm. Sorry I will have to miss this one... again! (*mumbles in frustration*)
