Kel-Tec P3AT HOLSTER question
Okay, I have searched and searched and can't find an answer to this question.
What is a good pocket holster for the P3AT?
I just picked one up at the VF show and need a holster for her.

Re: Kel-Tec P3AT
Most folks I have talked to seem to like the Nemesis.

I'm with Jules on this one, I have been using one for over 2 years, great holster.

Re: Kel-Tec P3AT
the Nemesis or the Superfly. the Superfly costs slightly more, but they're both good.

Re: Kel-Tec P3AT
I would either get a Kramer Pocket or a Galco Front Pocket Horsehide. The Galco is cheaper and thinner but the Kramer seems to print less, IMHO. Both are good and stiff enough and properly designed to draw from. A poor draw is a pretty big problem with most cheaper pocket holsters in my experience. I've used the Galco with the P3AT and the S&W 442. If you shop around you can get them for $45+.
Make sure you get that P3AT fully checked out at the range. Mine ended up going back to the factory three times. Very convenient little gun, and not a bad shooter for the size. But they have very hit or miss quality control. Some are good to go out of the box, some aren't.
Federal Hydrashok 90 gr worked better for me than other .380 acp hollowpoint defense loads. Good luck.

Re: Kel-Tec P3AT
Looks interesting. Does it stay put and draw well as Desantis claims? The "Sting" looks good too, with the spare mag holder.

Re: Kel-Tec P3AT HOLSTER question
My Nemisis stays and draws well.
If you get a chance, try PowRBall, runs great in both of my p3at's.
My #1 p3at would not feed Silvertips at all.

I use the Nemesis (it came with the gun when I bought it used), but JS holsters has a pocket holster for this model too.

Re: Kel-Tec P3AT HOLSTER question
I'm taking the VF Gun Show adoptions to the range this weekend (the P3AT and the Rem 870). I couldn't find any .380 defensive loads so only have some ball ammo to try out for right now. Will be looking for some of the defensive loads to run through though. This is more of a pistol for the wife as I have the HK USP .45 compact that I never leave home without.
