Question Conestoga a "no fire zone" on Sundays ????!!

I was going to go shoot at my friend's grandmother's farm out in Conestoga ( Southern Lancaster County) I was just wondering if this is true and if so why.
If it is true I figure it must be some draconian law on the books from the colonial days.

Anyways I was really bummed out because I HATE RANGE FEES, and driving for an hour to shoot. I have a paper shredder that needs to be sent to office space hell, and you can't shoot failed office equipment at a respectable range.

Anyone in Lancaster shoot on their own property ?? I live in the city so if I shoot, it is because I am being accosted.

Private property owners can disallow your shooting; the county cannot enforce any ordinance prohibiting it, though; that would be preempted.

County and local municipalities can regulate the discharge of a firearm.

Green Hill sportsmen club is in Conestoga township and you can shoot there Sundays, So I would think it's OK

as knight pointed out, preemption only covers "...ownership, possession, transfer or transportation...".

it does not prohibit ordinances against discharge. (at least not directly...i have heard one attorney opine that "a right to ownership/possession implies a right to use", so it might be possible that the preemption of regulation of ownership/possession would inherently preempt regulation of safe, state-legal discharge, however, i personally wouldn't hold my breath on that one at all.)
