I am now a gun owner. Just picked up my S&W model 60, snubnose .357 revolver. Next step is to get the wife at ease with the idea of conceal carry.

Yeah, The model 60 is a sweet gun, did you get the 3 incher , ploished ss withe wood grip? Sweet.

It only takes a few days for them to get used to the idea, then it will be a month or so of "I can tell you're carrying...you're not concealing well enough" then after that she likely won't care to argue anymore.

I don't bother concealing on purpose unless she request me to, I just carry and don't place a distinction between open or concealed.

Thanks. Yeah, it's the 3 incher, but no wood grip. I like it a lot better than the airweight i tried out a few months ago. Picking it up yesterday I noticed a Blackhawk anniversary Ruger .44 magnum...very, very sweet looking.

I don't have an open/conceal choice in Fla. It's going to take some time, but I think she'll come around. I didn't push the purchase, just planted the seeds some months ago. Eventually she came out saying we needed one. I'll do the same with carry. The other night an undercover cop was shot across the street from our post office that we use a lot...so she may already be a bit more receptive to the idea.
