    Maybe we’ve been going about this lightweight backpacking thing all wrong… With the Earth Roamer Jeep conversion, there’s no need to carry a pack at all. Just drive to your pristine, remote site and deploy your shelter.

    First thing I thought was, I WANT ONE!! Then I went to thier site and saw the prices!! WOW $110,000 BEFORE options.

    I think I'll stick to a pack for now.

    I'll skip the one on the Jeep platform and take the one built on the F-550 Superduty!

    That would be the ultimate in road tripping trucks! (And fuel millage be DAMNNED!)

    a Ford Super Duty and a Jeep are "apples and oranges"

    you certainly won't be pulling 10 tons behind the Jeep, and you won't be crawling rocks in a crew-cab SD frame either.

    EDIT: disclosure against flames - I own both a SD and Jeep.
