Children and Guns / Good Article

Stumbled onto this while surfing the web. I thought it was a really good article on children and guns. I love the part about "number of kids killed on bikes compared to with firearms. But no one is up in arms trying to stop the sale of bikes". Those are the kinds of facts to remember and throw out when someone is rambling about guns and kids.

I agree, the article was perfect. I may have to get a hold of the book mentioned in the article as well, "More Guns, Less Crime" .

Good article!

I constantly drill my kids about gun safety. I think the most important part is telling them not to be around other kids showing off Dad's gun! That seems to be where most accidents happen. I tell them that if they are at a friends house and the kid brings out a gun to show...run and tell their parents! That is what scares me most! They know not to touch my guns at home!
