    Default Wood protectant / sealent?

Hey guys, need more info... I have to water treat a deck and a swing set this week since its finally NOT going to rain every day for a change... any suggestions on what I should use?

The swing set looks to be cedar stained pine and I like the color so I wouldn't mind staining my deck to match and then coating it (after I sand and power wash of course)

I've heard Thompson is garbage but thats sort of the "name brand" one. I've also heard that Behr makes one thats good but was hoping some people on here could give some advice?

I'm hoping to get at least 3 - 4 years out of whatever I put down
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

Flood CWF products is what my painter uses. If feels it's good enough to use on his log home in Timberline Wv. and the $800k-$3.7mil. costum homes we do. My customers have been happy for years.

Behr and Cabot are the brands to pick from. IMHO

They both have 'new' premium stains available that will give you (vertical surfaces) 8+ years for the solid stains, horizontal surfaces 5 years.

The semitransparent of each 5-6 for vertical and 4+ horizontal.

They also have tinted clear water proofers/sealers. I just finished using Cabots 'clear - natural cedar' on an outdoor dining set. Really set up nice and the color looks great. I expect to get 5 or more years out of it. I cover the set it in the winter and the back deck only gets about 3 hours of partial sun.
