Paul Howe on tactical shooting.
This is nothing new, just something I thought was worth bringing to this site.

For those not familiar with Mr. Howe's background, I suggest reading this also.

A brief excerpt, from the linked PDF.
PLAXCO'S SHOOTING PRINCIPLES
1. ACCURACY TAKES PRECEDENCE OVER SPEED.
2. SPEED IS ECONOMY OF MOTION.
3. SPEED WILL COME WITH PRACTICE (IF YOU PRACTICE TO BE
FAST).
4. LET THE SIGHTS DICTATE THE CADENCE OF FIRE.
5. YOU MUST LEARN WHAT IS AN ACCEPTABLE SIGHT PICTURE
AND TRIGGER CONTROL FOR THE SHOT REQUIRED.
6. SHOOT ONE SHOT AT A TIME.
7. WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS, ALIGN THE SIGHTS... SQUEEZE THE
TRIGGER.

Re: Paul Howe on tactical shooting.
I shoot very well with long rifles my 270 at 200 yards & I love shooting my AK47 one bullet one kill per my dear old dad and years of hunting with him..I have 2 pistols also a 9mm and a 357 for personal safety. But I never was taught how to shoot a pistol.
Is their any classes around northeast Pa?
