who carried to the fireworks show ??
Unfortunately for me i was bound by state law to not carry there, here in GA it is considered a public gathering and is a racist law that needs to go.
Wynne v. State 123 Ga. 566 1905 A public Fourth of July barbecue "at which negroes and some white people gathered, to the number of some 400 or 500," is a public gathering.

Re: who carried to the fireworks show ??
I had a buddy who had a big ole party and set off a ton of illegal fireworks. It was a balmy 58 degrees. So, I was packing while wearing a jacket.
The fireworks were good, despite being illegal. Advantages to small towns and knowing the guy on duty well.
And your right, not being able to carry where a group of people congregate is crazy if you ask me.The American Revolution would never have happened with gun control....

I did at Mars Pa. Next year I think I'll invest in some blanks and fire a few in the back yard. With all the explosions going off around the house I could have gotten away with emptying the mags.

The law seems a tad bit outdated. Wow they even segregated people in a written law. Who the hell says Negro anymore? So I'm guessing if you're not white or a negro you'd be able to carry according to how this law is written. It is 2009 correct? Some spring cleaning on some outdated laws are in order if you ask me. Yikes

I was wearing my often criticized black leather fanny pack with my trusty PPK in it! And my keys, wallet, knife, Gerber tool, sunscreen, sun glasses, reading glasses and other "Man bag things when having no pockets in the shorts" things that I needed.

CC down here in Philly. Didn't have the balls to OC, being with the wife, my 3 month old, and some friends, just didn't feel like getting hassled by the 800 plus PPD officers....
