Default cop that arrested black scholar gets a standing ovation at a police convention?

Sgt. Crowley had a standing ovation at a fraternal order of police convention tonite, is this racial profiling? why would they celebrate an arrest that will spark more controversial racism?

Because he handled the situation in a very professional manner. Just because the professor was an ass doesn't mean there was a problem with the officer.

What's wrong with giving an officer, who refused to bow to a racial wannabe martyr, a standing ovation? I see nothing wrong with that, and whoever takes offense in it will take offense in whatever, because they want to take offense.

If the professor had been a white friend of the president, and the standing ovation occurred, what would the reason have seemed to be to you?

    Apply that here, too.

i am not saying what the officer did was wrong but wont this get the black racist starting all over again? especially posting the standing ovation on the internet for all the black power to see it...i am talking about the internet posting this to piss off the black scholar, to prove that he was wrong and the cop was right.

How is making up a charge to arrest someone who's attitude and speech you dislike "professional"?

Hey, I'm still trying to get over the whoops and cheers and jumping about I saw from black college students when the OJ verdict was announced.
