Default Are you still searching for your perfect handguns?

I have owned quite a few handguns in various calibers. But I now only own two and they are my perfect guns. I have a Bersa Thunder .32 acp which has a 3.5 barrel and carry it IWB in a Remora Tuckable holster. I also own a Kel Tec P-32 which i either carry in a pocket holster or also a Remora Tuckable. Both of these guns shoot flawlessly and are accurate. I can hit head or chest shots from 3 to 30 feet with them. Never a FTE, FTF, etc. with either gun. If you are thinking not enough of a round, think about this. From a small P-32 an FMJ round will go thru 4 layers of denim and penetrate 14 inches in ballistic gel, from a distance of 10 feet, and with little recoil you can put 3 fast shots in center mass. I believe that will get a criminals attention as he falls to the ground. I know that I have found my two perfect guns that I am confident in for carry or home defense. I hope you all find your perfect gun/guns. When you do you will not worry about buying another gun unless you collect them.

My perfect gun is a .38 special revolver snub.... for daily carry.

My perfect gun is a .40 Glock 22 for travel through urban areas.

My perfect gun is an SKS for riding behind the seat of my pickup.

My perfect gun is an AR 10 in the trunk of my car + 3 full mags for SHTF use.

My perfect gun is an 18.5" barrel Mossberg 12GA pump with pistol grip for things that go bump in the night.

My perfect gun for plinking is a .22 charger with a red dot on it.

Too bad they were all lost in the tragic boat fire.

I must say I am jealous!!

I have been looking for a Bersa Thunder 32 for years.

I have watched most used firearms resources.

    I have a Bersa Thunder 22 and a Bersa Thunder UC45.

    Considering a Thunder 380.

But the 32 has been high on my list for years!

    God bless!!

Of course the return question is: perfect gun for what use?
I have a Beretta Pico for pocket carry, a Colt Jr. for those occasions when extreme sartorial discretion is needed, a couple of gorgeous 20 ga. and 12 ga shotguns for trap, and a few other guns for sporting and plinking purposes. There's more to life than SD and HD; in fact, what use is SD if you have no life?

Ah, the perfect gun - the Holy Grail, always a good question.

I have the perfect deer rifle. It is in my avatar. And, to boot, it is in the perfect caliber - 6.5x55. I really love this rifle and don't feel for a bolt action rifle that I could improve on it.

The prefect handgun, that's a little but different. The P-238 is close. Give me something the same size and quality that is DA/SA with a decocker/safety.

As far as military arms go, thank you Mr. Kalashnikov - perfect for my needs.

I don't do shotguns (yet) and find many revolvers suitable. Hmmm, IDing the perfect revolver takes more knowledge on the subject than I have.

I do like the topic. Thanks.

My perfect handgun - for me, right now, is the Glock 19.

Doesn't mean that this might not change in the future; but the 19 serves my handgun needs PRETTY solidly.
Tomorrow's battle is won during today's practice.

No such thing as "the perfect gun" especially when it comes to hand guns since they themselves are a huge compromise. What ever works for you is pretty much all I can say on the subject and most of the time like in this case I disagree but that's just me.

I found my perfect gun about 27 years ago, they have since multiplied and they don't begin with a B or K.
