WASHINGTON -- A Republican congressman from Georgia said Monday he fears that President-elect Obama will establish a Gestapo-like security force to impose a Marxist or fascist dictatorship.

"It may sound a bit crazy and off base, but the thing is, he's the one who proposed this national security force," Rep. Paul Broun said of Obama in an interview Monday with The Associated Press. "I'm just trying to bring attention to the fact that we may -- may not, I hope not -- but we may have a problem with that type of philosophy of radical socialism or Marxism."

I talked to my state represenitive this morning at my grandsons veterans day program at school . he said he is real worried about DC now , especially as far as 2nd ammendment right goes

I'm not happy with Obama as president, but trashing him will only serve to make me look like an idiot. I'll wait until he does something I can point to, then trash him. Yes, he fraternized with Ayers, yes he has voted against gun owners, and yes, he's made some rather questionable statements, but until and unless he does something after in office, I won't pillory the man for past decisions.
