    Default AR15/AR10 Lowers

Who makes and sells the least expensive, but not total junk, AR15 and AR10 lower receivers?

My fall property tax check was returned to me over the weekend citing my taxes were canceled out by the Homestead Exemption completely*.

So I got $250 to play with. And in celebration of Obama's victory(note:sarcasm) , I really should get a EBR that pollutes the land with brass and copper coated lead.

*($15K exemption versus $6350 improved and $3000 land values, and you all bitch when property values drop in places you dont intend to sell lol)

Yeah, I'm interested in picking up 3 or 4 lower receivers. And building them up at my leisure over the next few years.

What brand is a good deal from a a price/quality perspective?

WRT the AR10, I don't know if you are looking for the Armalite style ("true" AR10) or DPMS/Knights/POF/Fulton style.

FWIW the least expensive of the DPMS style was the DPMS here http://www.rrarms.com/catalog.php?prod=308-LR-05. Cheaper by far than any other I found. Out of stock now, but no change in price. Maybe you could BO it.

    +1 on Stag.

If you want an AR-10 lower you'll have to get an Armalite or Eagle Arms, which is owned by Armalite. Stripped AR-10 receivers are quite a bit more expensive though. Most places are out of stock these days.

    Anvil and Stag.

I always built on Stags, but after the last 5 Anvils I saw, I went out and ordered one.
