    Default Bump fire trigger

BATF approved. Anything bump fire seems like a waste of ammo to me.

I was reading about this on arfcom. Waste of ammo or not, I want one!

Or you could just get a Geissele Super 3 Gun or Super Dynamic 3 Gun, pay half the price, proven reliability, and get a higher rate of fire.

I agree the cash to buy one of these plus enough ammo to make it worth while is the same cost of a two day training course.

I would rather become a better marksman than play bullet hose for an hour.

I'm not saying it would not be fun, but not worth the cost to me.

This is the type of thing I could see using once and having a lot of fun with and then it sitting in the safe gathering dust after that. Cool concept but not worth the money to me.

once installed in my AR it will remain there, and even if I don't click it over to that third position very often, I still like the idea that I can,
an AR with a safety that has three clicks that does three different things is worth $495 to me any day

Just from their response letter this is not bump fire, it's just a positive reset trigger which forces you to reapply pressure with your shooting finger. $495 is pretty steep for that. Still like my slidefire but in hindsight I wouldn't buy it again. Just too much trouble when I do use it, meaning waste of ammo and a bunch of curious people (and unwanted attention). I am also skeptical of the ATF letter, it uses the word prototype a lot and nothing in there says they won't come back and ban this thing, take the customer list and hunt you down like they did before. I know the slidefire hasn't had problems but you never know.

Saying all that, I'm still going to buy one out of curiosity.... Then bitch about it being a waste... There is a pattern here.

    LOL.

I just emailed them. The link on the site says pre-order but when I clicked on it it acts like I can buy one now. But you're right I would much prefer to pay cash local.
