Default Punisher grips for a 1911....

I ordered new grips for my Colt Commander from duragrips.com. They were a great company to deal with and very quick to get me the product I ordered. I would not hesitate to buy from this company again.

I think they look great, what do you guys think?

    Different.

I'm still a sucker for a nicely done set of wood grips. I have however, seen some nice alternatives.

    Looks decent though!

    To each their own.

Hows the texture? Usually not a fan of art work on a 1991a1 but its a Colt so they look fine.

They are smooth without being slippery. I figured I would try a new look. I like it. It helps that I was a big fan of the Punisher as a kid. I will shoot it before I make a final decision about them.

Of course it's a Colt, is there another company that makes 1911s?

I am gonna get some new grip screws and may paint them gloss black to match the grips.

I found this website on gunbroker. I went to the site and bought them. Very easy transaction and very nice guy. I would buy from him again.
