    The museum is part of Fort Knox. The easiest way to get there is to take Rt 60 south from Louisville to 31W. Very easy to get to. You do not have to go on to the post to see it. If you come from another way you will have to go through the post and the guards will give you directions. Be advised no guns are allowed on post or at the museum. The admission is free but they do have a donation box if you care to give (I always do). Many of the volunteers are instructors from the U.S. Army Armor School on Fort Knox. It is actually called The Patton Museum of Calvary and Armor. It was established to preserve historical artifacts and archival materials relating to Mechanized Cavalry and Armor and General George S. Patton Jr. It houses one of the world’s largest collections of armored vehicles (not just US).

    It was a shooting sport, cant remember what event. I think he was using a much bigger gun than the other competitors.

    Nice pics. I got to go there this Spring. Also, the Knob Creek shop/range is pretty close by!
