Feinsteins 2013 Bill
Looks like SKS's are included as well thumb hole stocks and others. There is also a registry.

Re: Feinsteins 2013 Bill
I'm disappointed I couldn't find this on here but rather a non-firearms forum.
Either I'm really bad a at searching or people just aren't concerned with the issue.
Heres a snip of the text.
Requires that grandfathered weapons be registered under the National Firearms Act, to include:
Background check of owner and any transferee;
Type and serial number of the firearm;
Positive identification, including photograph and fingerprint;
Certification from local law enforcement of identity and that possession would not violate State or local law; and
Dedicated funding for ATF to implement registrationWe must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately.-Benjamin Franklin

I just don't see how this would be constitutional given the Heller decision.

Re: Feinsteins 2013 Bill
There is no mention of grandfathering magazines with a capacity greater than 10 rounds.
It clearly reads "Bans large-capacity ammunition feeding devices capable of accepting more than 10 rounds". Without exceptions.

Re: Feinsteins 2013 Bill
Whatever form the final bill takes via amendments in the House and Senate committees one thing is for sure, it will be draconian in nature.
This is a watershed moment in our nation's history.

Re: Feinsteins 2013 Bill
There will be allot of firearm owners who will agree that an assault weapon ban is a good idea. I've heard this already.
Those folks need to see this information and consider that if a ban is possible for a weapon type that was used in such a small percentage of homicides a similar ban is more likely possible for pistols and maybe even shotguns.
This FBI data is from here: http://www.theblaze.com/stories/here...t-want-to-see/
