Is 22-250 legal for deer in PA?
Does anyone know if 22-250 is legal in PA? Mine is fast twist Savage that shoots 60 grain Nosler Partitions great with max load of H414. I know some folks use this combo on TX deer with great success.

I have heard Texas has small deer. Might want to double-check on that.

Re: Is 22-250 legal for deer in PA?
i thought I recall about 10-15 years ago for one year or two them specifying something akin to:
centerfire: over .22 caliber..................., leaving some doubt to the .22x...
Of course I could be completely wrong.

Re: Is 22-250 legal for deer in PA?
There is no caliber mention under the permitted devices section of the rules/regulations:
http://www.pacode.com/secure/data/05...1/s141.43.html
(d) Regular and special firearms deer seasons.
(1) Permitted devices. It is lawful to hunt deer during the regular and special firearms deer seasons with any of the following devices:
(i) A manually operated, centerfire firearm.
(ii) A bow and arrow as permitted under subsection (a)(1)(i).
(iii) A crossbow and bolt as permitted under subsection (a)(1)(ii).
(iv) A muzzleloading firearm as permitted under subsection (b)(1) or (c)(1).
(2) Prohibitions. While hunting deer during the regular and special firearms deer seasons, it is unlawful to:
(i) Use or possess multiple projectile ammunition or ammunition other than required by section 2322(a)(4) of the act.
(ii) Use a device not provided for in the act or in this subsection.
