    My SIL in Sligo, heard something outside her house one night. She saw shadows going by the windows and grabbed her shotgun.

    She looked out her bedroom window and an emu was staring back at her. Then it pecked the glass and she almost shat herself. She said that she almost shot it through the house.

    You really have to know her, and gear her tell the story to appreciate it.

    We had am Emu running around our neighborhood. I wanted to cap it with a .308. My wife kept saying no. Well it got up onto Rt.100 and then a car hit it. So no Emu on the grill for us.

    Update my wife says the saw the little bastard earlier today. I showed her pictures of fishers and she swears that’s what she saw.

    So do I need to wait till december to trap or can I take it any day but Sunday? Weasels open year round but fishers are listed as one per season with traps?
