    Default Bananas Brulee Instructable

    http://www.instructables.com/id/Bananas_Brulee/

Bananas brulee is my boy's favorite dessert, so my neice and I wrote an instructable on how to make them. (ok, it was mostly me, but she wrote a version too.) Very easy to make - you need bananas, sugar and a torch. Also, brandishing a propane torch to make dessert adds an air of danger to the dish.

Side note, if you check it out and like it, I'd appreciate your vote for their contest (voting ends March 1). Tryin' to win a T-shirt for my boy! You have to register to vote, but it's instant.

Another side note, if you've never visited the instructables site, it's very cool. Loads of projects and ideas. I only wish I had the time to do most of them.

    You're a nut! LOL!
    That's cool. Loved the narration.

Wish I saw this yesterday. The bananas on my counter look like death and are ready for the trash.

As long as they're not mush, it'll work. All depends on how ripe you like your bananas!

Bananas that are too far gone for eating are great for banana bread. As long as they aren't moldy, the browner the better.

Looks good. We make pancakes pretty regularly, so I'll have to try it...as long as it works without the rum!

its more about the flavor, as the alcohol cooks off almost instantly.

you could also use rum extract from the grocery store.

it's not the alcohol that concerns me, it's the flames!
