    Default Night Sight Advice

    Hey Guys,
Not sure if this question belongs here or in the "optics" thread, but oh well. With fall approaching and the sun setting earlier, i am looking for a set of after-market night sights one of my carry guns, a Taurus Pt145 Millenium Pro (a whole other topic!) It seems like all the major purveyors specify their sights as NOT fitting the MilPro models. Maybe it has to do with screw in sights as opposed to dove-tail?? Anyway, just checking in to see if anyone has had any success in this neighborhood. Thanks in advance.

Try these guys if you can't find an aftermarket sight. They will implant tritium ampules into most existing sights.

You could also for a cheaper alternative try NiteSiters
    http://nitesiters.com/

I have them on my 1911 and they are great! A 5 second blast from my surefire and I am good to go for at least an hour. Much much brighter than tritium, but alas they need to be "charged".

    Just a thought.

Trijicon's work is top-notch too, haven't heard of Tony's recommendation, but it sounds like the same idea.

Have you looked on Heinie's website? He offers sights for the 24/7...apparently they work on the pt145.

Synergy gave you a great link for the dovetail style sights.

Trijicon TS01 sights fit the screw on front type.
