I've read a few reviews online that say it works. Might try one of the mechanical systems out for my CZ P-01. It's only $60.

I am EXTREMELY skeptical.

In the case of polymer framed pistols, you have to be VERY careful in regard to the impact on the inertial dynamics such devices may impart. Glock initially had a hard time getting the 22's or 23's to cycle properly with tac lights and had to change something with respect to the magazines.

Polymer frames flex when fired and anything that retards the flexing or affects timing can impact reliability.

It still boils down to the fact that you can't buy competence.

I never heard if they truly work. It might be worth trying though.

I see they have the nonmagnetic unit for the P99 now.. I just might try it someday. Auto's seem to "flop" around too much for my liking. It might bring new life to my closet queen.

I'm a faster shot with accuracy being prime issue with 357 and 44 mag revolvers than I am with an auto. Yeah, I can burp out lead out a semi with blazing speed - but I'm all over the place. I think its due to recoil and change of mass location on handgun. where as the revolvers only have recoil to deal with. ....but thats just me.

A friend had something similar in his glock, started causing malfunctions. It's just another thing to go wrong.

Not uncommon. I think it's because the extra tenth of a second or so spent on that long trigger stroke lets me settle the sights. An auto is always ready to shoot before I am.

TonyF has it right. If you could buy skill there'd be a lot more Grand Masters in the shooting games.

Like the Sprinco and recoil master, I find double spring systems harder to time. You're best recoil reducer is your own grip. Messing with loads, gun weight and spring weight is more reliable for me.

But...if it works for you.....it works.

Just purchased a G21 with one installed,
It did reduce felt recoil, BUT the pistol would not reliably function,
could not go threw a full mag with out 3-4 FTF.
tried 3 different types of 45 acp ammo.
Finally replaced it with OEM recoil rod, The Glock knows functions as a Glock should.
IMPO...dont waste your $$.
