    Default ADvice on .22 simi-auto

    I need some advice on a .22 simi-auto. I have 60 Marlin tube fed with some 'add-ons.
( see pic ) It a great hit with the kids but I'm not completely happy with tube fed. So, I'm looking for a .22 simi-auto, mag fed, that I can 'add-on to.
    Any suggestions??

    ~THANK YOU~

That's the easiest question to answer! Ruger 10/22!

I just saw a new addition to the 10/22 after-market line:

Might have to buy one myself!

What they all said... Ruger 10/22.

Check out these links too see what you do with one. It is perhaps the most versatile platform to build on other than an AR.

Another vote for the 10/22. Here's a pic of mine. My favorite thing to do is set up chicken eggs at 100 yards. They just explode when you hit them. With a little aftermarket work, they are absolute tack drivers. If you want to know what I've done to mine, PM me. This is also a pic of a .45 shell shot at 50 yards, so that ought to tell you something about the accuracy of it. Sorry about the blurriness, my old camera sucked.

Once you get it then the fun starts. There are many upgrades that can be made. Then there are the 25, 30, 50 round mags you can get.

    FUN is right !
I have been looking around the net and found a 17HM2 Conversion system for the 10/22.

I think this is going to turn into a big but enjoyable project.
