good start to the day
i woke up this morning at 2:00am. the dog was whining to go out. i take him out and decide to stay up. i get up at 4:00am anyway no biggy.
4:00 comes about and i start getting ready for work. decide to wash my hands. turn on the water to find no hot water. go out side to go to the basement. i find the water heater is powered up and seems to be working fine. purge the pressure relief to find hot water.
now i am scratching my head. i installed the water heater myself maybe two years ago. ran the water lines myself.
go back upstairs turn the faucet back on. again nothing but cold water.
now my wife is out of bed, and ask me whats going on. and as i start to tell her that theres no hot water i realize i have been turning the cold water tap on.
i really hate when that happens.

That extra bit of sleep might be more necessary than you thought.
I'm glad to hear that your water supply is OK.

Don't sweat the small sh*t. Any day you wake up still sucking air, thats a good start to the day.

Re: good start to the day
Yeah, we all have these kid of days....
But at least it wasn't as bad as our neighbor/friend. He woke up 2 days ago at 5:30 for work and thought, "Huh, its kinda chilly in here....damn!!! Its 52° in here. It freezing!" Come to find out he ran out of oil. And on one of the coldest days of the year. So he called around during work to find someone that would come and deliver oil and get everything fired up. When the oil guy arrived at 6:00pm, the basement of his house was at 42°. Damn lucky that nothing bad happened to him.
