Yep, you are seeing correctly! It's a Crossman Airsoft holster! I bought it for $6.00 at Wally World! It fits my Ruger P89 like a glove! Also holds 1 spare mag on the top. I have to try the 1911 in it yet, but the I did already try the 1911 mag and it fits perfect! The retention strap is snug and easy to adjust.

It's obviously not the best option for concealed or open carry, but it makes a great truck gun holster, bag gun holster or even for tossing in the night stand. For $6...just cant beat it! LOL I'll post some actual pics later if anyone is interested.

It's padded nylon, not cordura. Feels strong and tight fully loaded, but I don't think it would ride well on your hip. Might be ok on a tac vest or something, but like I said...it protects my gun when in a bag, drawer or console without a big expense...it's the right tool for my particular job, so yeah...I like it! LOL

My only issue with them, and similar holsters where a magazine is carried on the holster, is that I have yet to see someone with an auto reload using their strong hand. Unless it's carried crossdraw, I just see them as silly.

Well you sold me. I just picked one up at the Lower Nazareth Wally World. My G23 fits in there nice. The mag sits in really snug though. I wouldn't use it to carry, just for the reasons that you stated. Thanks for the tip!
