Second pics for the same firearm required???
If you take your pistol to a gunsmith such as that at gander mountain for light repair and they end up returning it to the manufacturer for repair will you need to go through another PICS check to get your firearm back or is that only done when you actually purchase the firearm?
I am sure it is here somewhere but I was not able ot find the answer when I searched for it on this forum."No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms."

Re: Second pics for the same firearm required???
Thanks just was curious as they require ID and all before they return the gun to me. I like that as I do not want them to give my gun to anyone else.
I do think this is a non standard thing from Glock as this gun has had a problem since day one. Hopefully this will be the end of this pistols problems for a while."No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms."

Nothing to do, not even a 4473. As long as you didn't sell or sign it over to them, they get it fixed and hand it back. They do have to make an entry into their bound book but that's not your concern.

Yeah, no need for PICS or 4473 as ownership has not changed.
