OC Westmoreland Mall, good experience!
went shopping today with my wife and Son spent 4 hours in Westmoreland mall OCing the whole time and not once did i have any confrontations or "guy with a gun" calls. quite a few looks but no one said anything. wife got her jewlery cleaned and checked at Helzberg and Kays. my son got his McNuggets and fries and we ate in the food court. a couple next to us said we have such a well behaved 2 year old that doesn't make a mess while eating. stopped by Gander Mountain to browse around and bought a hat for me and my son.
then the weather turned and we ice skated the whole way home.
si to sum it up Westmoreland Mall is OC Friendly.Μολὼν λαβέ

Fantastic. I love hearing good reports, and "Nothing Happened while OCing" reports. Keep it up

Re: OC Westmoreland Mall, good experience!
That's great, but I hesitate to announce ANY place of business, city, or any other location as "OC friendly".
Maybe you go there tomorrow, and end up having a 30 minute discussion with mall guards?
Just sayin'.
It is nice to hear that you had a pleasant experience though.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Re: OC Westmoreland Mall, good experience!
Like EM said, maybe you just caught them on a day where nobody noticed/had a problem with it.
The WM Mall has a code of conduct listed here on their website.
http://www.westmorelandmall.com/shop...ct_English.pdf
20. Carrying or displaying weapons of any kind except those carried by certified law enforcement officers
in the performance of their duties.
So, I have never OC'd in there (cc'd though, breaking their rules)
in the performance of their duties.
I have OC'd in Ross Park Mall (Allegheny County-Ross Twp.) without issue the other day. Their code of conduct is actually at the mall, and does not mention weapons. At least, not that I can recall. I also thought it was weird that the whole time I was there I did not encounter a security guard (unless they're PC security now).
Also, Ross Twp police have a substation in a back hall of the mall.

Re: OC Westmoreland Mall, good experience!
Actually a handgun is a fashion accessory LOL, though it certainly has other uses, therefore the tool. OCing is a crime deterant so the handgun is an anti criminal tool.
