Default new addition to the collection

    picked this up today.
it looks like it's a 1920 commericial as it's not dated nor bears any military proofs. i'm having a hard time coming up with info since i got booted from the luger board......
all matching but the mag,,,,,,,and has been refinished...bummer but oh well, that just makes for cheap luger.
what it does have is the first owners name on the back strap, and usgi capture papers.
picked it up for $750....$150 of which was for the holster that it came in with.
now i have an example from the first and second world wars.

now the old guy can collect dust while the young guy is seeing range time.

they point real nice. they'res a lot of parts moving in alot of directions so felt recolt is pretty light as well.
i like the way they feel in hand.
the top ejection takes a few rounds to get used too.
it's only metal, we can out think it....

no guys you have it all wrong, the other one was the railroad gun.....

    edit
    looks like it's a 1914 commerical.
i'm hearing that makes it a scarce piece.

so it's a bit older than i thought.
