Heverling's Guns & Gunsmithing-Palmyra, PA
I've needed a sling mount put on my Draco AK Pistol for a while and every gunsmith I tried either said "I ain't touchin' it", or told me it would take 1 to 2 weeks for them to get to it. I am very impatient so I kept looking.
Then one day Jim Heverling came into the store I work in (completely not gun related) introduced himself and left a stack of business cards for everybody (we have a lot of pro-gunners).
I took the gun out to him on my lunch break the other day and sure enough--he drilled and placed the mount right away, with absolutely zero B.S. and for half the price I was quoted at other 'smiths.
I know it was probably a really simple job, but to be able to get in and out with it in under an hour (most of which was spent talking about other projects) was awesome.
Very nice guy, A+ service.
He says it's best to call ahead, he runs the shop out of his house and is usually readily available, but sometimes checks in and out.
I got the impression his shop is relatively new so I'll give his info here:

I've done business with this man and Mr. Heverling was great! quick shipper and everything was EXACTLY as he said and even better! I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again.

I bought my first 1911 from Jim, he's a real stand-up guy. He took the gun apart, checked everything, made sure I knew how everything worked before I left his shop. The shop is small, but his prices are very reasonable. He's actually located off 322 in Campbelltown, even though it's a Palmyra address.
