    Man shot dead was trying to rob home
    No charges are being filed at this point

    VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - A 23-year-old Virginia Beach man was breaking into a house Wednesday night when a person living there shot him dead.

    The home invasion turned homicide happened around 11:30 p.m. in the 300 block of Rose Marie Avenue in the Aragona section of the city.

    Good to see that a homeowner was able to defend themselves, who knows what would have happened if they were unarmed and the guy made it into the home.

    Proof once more, that a loaded firearm is a much better deterrant to a criminal than a "GUN FREE ZONE" sign.

    That's why the patio area by the back door was pea gravel and spent brass.
    I was never messed with I hoped anyone that might of cased the place correctly guess I wouldn't mind adding to it.
