Can background checks be done on a sunday?
Might be a stupid question, but I have never purchased or transfered a gun on a week end. Are the people they call to do the BackGround check working on the weekends??

Not sure, but I think they do Back Ground checks on Sunday.

My dog "Ruger" is worried about the economy because Alpo is up to $3.00 a can. That's almost $21.00 in dog money.

About PICS (Pennsylvania Instant Check System)

Pennsylvania Firearm Dealers and County Sheriffs access the PICS program through a toll free telephone number, which is available for service from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. seven days a week, including holidays.
If an individual is eligible to acquire a firearm, the PICS background check replaces the former, mandatory five-day waiting period. Operation has shown that approximately 60% of the individuals attempting to purchase a firearm are approved within minutes.

Yes. If not, the weekend gun shows would only be held on Saturdays.
