Wow... a couple well placed .22 rounds saved this guy.

    Good Lord that is awful.

But damned good shooting with a .22 revolver. That man should be teach some range classes to the Army.

was just having this convo at the range yesterday when shooting .22 LR pistols...

we were rapid firing .22 LR at steel targets and at the rate of fire you could shoot without blinking was incredible...It sparked the "it would hurt quite bad getting hit with a .22, but would be devestating if you got unloaded on"

However, we all agreed one good shot to the head and it can be lights out

A .22 can be quite deadly. Reagan was neatly killed by a .22LR. In the Chardon OH school shooting, a kid killed three classmates with a Ruger Mark II. Seems like I remember something about the .22 bullets hitting bones and ricocheting, causing more damage to organs instead of passing through. Doctors have a hard time treating a narrow wound channel that veers off in unknown directions.

Exactly what happens that .22 gets in there and bounces around, its also the "choice" for many assassians as the bullet becomes so mangaled it is hard to get any type of ballastics evidence from

Never met anyone who wanted to volunteer to stand in front of incoming .22

My dad had a .22 go through his calf as a teenager when he dropped his rifle accidentally while hunting (was the story I got, he's my dad I'm going to consider it truth, and I saw the scar on both sides of his calf) and he said he wouldn't volunteer to get shot again, but anything larger or faster than a BB out of my Daisy that I had when I was 5.
