Rumor has it; Highpower/Service matches return to Bellwood Sportsmans Range
Guys have been coming into my shop and saying that military(?) rifle matches are to be held at the Bellwood Sportsmen's Club, with the first on this Saturday, May 5th. Have not been able to find any printed info.

I did. Kev(?) was mowing the range. I will go tomorrow morning and see if there is any activity.

Re: Rumor has it; Highpower/Service matches return to Bellwood Sportsmans Range
I attended the match on May 4 (I mis-stated the date) with the intention of videoing the match. Other than me and my brother, who was not shooting, no one turned up. The Match director was there and the sighting targets were up. The director was very disappointed. I did find out that the match will be 50 rounds, four stages, begins at 9AM, costs $10, membership in the club is NOT required. Seems like sign-up and the prelim stuff means 8am or 8:30Am at the latest. The match should last about 90 minutes.
Anyone interested is free to contact me at 814-742-8549. I am NOT associated with the match but can answer SOME questions.
There will be another match the first Saturday of the each month.

So that should make the next match June 1rst. Hopefully enough shooters will show up this time for a match to be held. Anybody want to fight me for last place in scoring?

I attended the second match at Bellwood Sportsmen’s Club. There were 7 shooters, I called the match. It was 40 shots, four positions, any rifle, any sights, $10, and started at 9AM. A short video can be found here:

Next, and all, match will be the first Saturday of the month.
