Youth ear protection
I am new to this forum and relatively new to shooting. My kids (five and seven) are interested in shooting. We have been working with a bob gun in the backyard. I have a youth .22 which I want to start him into at the range. However, he complains the ear muffs I have him wear are too tight. All of the pairs I have seen appear too big for kids. I want to make sure his ears are properly protected. Does anyone have experience or recommendations for youth ear protection? Thanks!

Re: Youth ear protection
Best thing I found were the use of the disposable plugs.
When my daughter was 5 or so, I trimmed a little off the side of a disposable and inserted, it worked well. Better than some muffs for her.
As she got older,9 now, the plugs no longer need to be trimmed.
Would be nice if they made thinner plugs for youth... Didn't see them locally so I made my own on the fly.
