anyone else concerned that the pirate speaks clearer and more intelligibly then about 75% of the basketball players and football players that we already pay millions to every year? Hell just speaking English puts him above 50% of the people in the MLB too.

I just want to add that whatever country buys Russian tanks in the near future; they need to seriously consider running "tankfax" reports or they may be in for a suprise.

Pirates area real problem. y wife wanted to take a cruise over in that part of the world, no way honey. I'm not getting macheted on my vacation. Regardelss of what happens in the video, these "modern" pirates are serious and have caused some real problems for sailors in that region.

WTF? Since when do pirates have "spokesmen"? Has the whole world gone MAD?!?!?

Dave, you made a good point about piracy here, it's a very large problem, for not only off the horn of Africa, but in Indoneisia and off Vietnam. These are not the fairy tale pirates we think of when we hear a Jimmy Buffett song, but real cut-throats, who will kill just to steal a few I-Pods from a shipping container.

I see that freighter winding up on the bottom of the Indian Ocean. The Russians won't play that game, they gots plenty more T-72s what's a few less.

As for Kenya, it's one of only a few "stable" (if there is such a thing) nations in Africa, they need all the help they can get to stay that way.
