Default New Magpul Hardware at SHOT 09

I've known about the BAD for a long time now (waiting for it to pull the trigger on a redi mag, but that sling, the attachment point are something I am definitely interested in.

The ability for the dust covers to lock to the bottom of the pmags is nice too.

The stock doesn't do much for me personally, but I can see how people who may not like the function or feel of the UBR might want one (or the ubr weight too).

I looked at the ASP on Magpul website and other sites, but the photos don't show any picture of the hook that allows for conversion from 1-point to 2-point quickly. Also, the swivel around the buffer should be a part of the sling right?

That sling is going to be a product all of it's own, it's not part of the ASP. (as I understand it)

Oh...he said ASP sling, I guess I assumed that it's one of the ones on their site. I guess he only referred to the abbreviation, not the actual product.

That sling is ridiculous!!!!! I must have one as soon as I see one I am getting one or two. The P mags are cool but I already have some. the rail system, ehh I prefer quad rial look anyway. That stock is sick and I must get that to.

Now seriously though, how many people did he sweep with that muzzle??? Jesus.

IIRC, they run guns there with FP's cut short for safety reasons. In an expo like that he would need an entire square set up.

Costa's awesome though, in the middle of an expo floor he just drops into prone.

I think at these shows and gun shows, people are much more relaxed with the muzzle because they "trust" that these gun people know what they are doing keeping the guns unloaded and such. I STILL don't like it though...I have muzzlophobia
