shipping to an ffl

ok i sold a firearm, and i have to ship it to a ffl. so this ffl in ar. sent me a copy of his ffl, and i always like to verify their info so check it with the gunbroker system. well i have never had a problem with an ffl, but this time when i enter his number it comes up as an error. so my question where can i check it now?

that is the system that gunbroker has on thier site, i entered his number in agian and it still comes up error

That is not "GunBroker's" system. It is an ATF system that GunBroker provides a link to as a courtesy to it's users.

If you're not getting a clear verification, you should be in touch with the buyer to let them know you will not be shipping the firearm until you can resolve the matter. You may wish to suggest that the buyer find another FFL.
