Local Gun shop supply
I stopped at my local gun shop for some .17HMR and was shocked at the empty display racks. I have been buying gun stuff there for at least a decade and have never seen the racks empty like this. The rifle rack has probably 30 to forty empty slots and the shotgun rack is just as empty. The pistol display cases are just as bad. Ammo shelves had huge spaces in them. I have my hunting ammo on hand, but if someone was looking for hunting ammo they could be up a creek, hardly any variety left.
I know stuff is flying off the store shelves nation wide but I was really surprized
when I saw it first hand.
GrizzI always stressed to my son"one shot one kill that was all that is needed". When He came home from Marine Corp Boot camp He was telling me about the Marines stressing "ONE SHOT ONE KILL" He looks at me and the light bulb went on Dad was now a whole lot smarter than he was 13 weeks ago.

Re: Local Gun shop supply
Well, I'll let you know what I find. I'm planning a Cabela's run tomorrow. I have a $50.00 gift certificate burning a hole in my pocket. I plan to probably use it on ammo, but we'll see. I want to see how many people are buying guns.

I went to Sportsmans Warehouse the other day to look around and I'd noticed that the gun department had tons of empty pegs, and poor ammo selection.

Re: Local Gun shop supply
I own a small shop and the last two weekends have been unbelievable. The problem is that my suppliers are out of stock. Lots of cash on-hand and nowhere to spend it. No AR’S anywhere, no Wolf ammo very limited hi-cap handguns.

Re: Local Gun shop supply
Stopped in local shop (Freedom Armory) today and their used pistol case was at about 30% of capacity! Eight daya ago (last Friday), it was full.
They did have a couple AR mixmasters on consignment at reasonable prices.....9mm = 45acp set on "stun"
