SAD, anyone?
Anyone here get SAD?... also know as Seasonal Affective Disorder. Basically it's a fancy-pants term for the the winter blues. It occurs in some people due to a lack of sufficient sunlight during the winter seasons. Fall has only just begun and I'm already beginning to feel it. Is anyone else depressed by how short the days have become? I left for work at 6:45 AM this morning and it was still dark. It's about 7:30 PM right now as I type this and it's already dark again and it's only going to get worse. Pretty soon all of my shooting will be limited to weekends only because it will be dark by the time I get home from work and get to the range.
Man, I miss summer sooo bad. Anyone else in the same boat?Last edited by Cheeseybacon; October 1st, 2007 at 07:32 PM.

Re: SAD, anyone?
I usually experience a form of melancholy sometime during the Autumn months which goes away fairly quickly, and then I'm back to being my joyful and extremely happy old self again.

Re: SAD, anyone?
Not me, this is my favorite time of the year (fall/winter), I'm grumpy in the summer.

Normally, I can't wait for winter, I'm an avid snowboarder who is a recent transplant from the Lake Tahoe area. However, with all the shitty ski areas (I refuse to call them "resorts" or "mountains") and flat hills, this winter could be a dire one at best. Good thing there is a place to shoot indoors.
