    Default Kimber 1911

Has anyone here seen the NRA edition of their 1911?
Anyone know where I could price one of these?
Saw one one time and I liked the feel and look.

Didn't know there was a Kimber NRA pistol.

Para-Ord makes a couple NRA pistols. Kimber makes the USA Shooting Team pistol.

I think Para-Ord has the better reputation, just throw out the magazines.
Removed NRA Life Member pic. LaPierre and Chris Cox are ruining NRA.

I have yet to shoot, hold, or disasemble a Kimber that I liked. I do like the look of the Grand Raptor but for the price I'll get a S&W.

    Oh wait I did!

I am no gun expert but I love my Gold Match II. It feels like part of my hand, is extremely smooth and goes right where you point it. There was a breakin period that was very noticeable when it broke in but when it did it was wonderful. Plus it is so purrdy!!!

I'd take a TRP over a Kimber gold match/ combat any day.

I had the opportunity to shoot one of these. I met a gentleman at my range about a year or so back. He had won one of these kimbers through a raffle at a local range. The gun is well put together, doesn't rattle when shaken. Shoots nice, and feels good in the hand.
