Default Remington 541-s 5 shot clip

Back in 74 I bought a 541-s, now my kids [ all grown] consider it an hierloom. Problem is the chinchy 5 shot clip is worn out and the only clips I've been able to find are those 10 shot ones that stick way out the bottom of the rifle. If you know any place that has the 5 shot clips please contact me.

I tried them a few days ago and they have been out of the 5 shot clips for a while.

Brownells dosent have them. I might have one up at the shop ( used of course), I will look tomorrow. I will also look through some of my sources over the next few hours. So far...10 round mags only.

Thanks for your efforts, many places have 10 shot mags cause they are out of place on a nice bolt action and don't sell. The 10 shot mags stick too far out the bottom of the rifle and belong on some semi-auto, I don't give a hoot about rate of fire.

Shootster, I ordered one off Gun Parts Corp 2 days ago, so it isn't here yet $17. It took them a year to get some in.

Appreciate the tip. I will see if they have any more left. I don't like the 10 shot clips either.
