Default Deep fried turkey in December

After the meeting a few of us talked about the possibility of commandeering one of the turkeys Brad won at the block shoot and shanghai my neighbor and his outdoor propane deep fryer.
On second thought we should wait until after deer season, we know that some of the Fudds will drive right past if they see more than one or two cars in the parking lot and get pissed off and complain that they couldn't get on the range. We don't want to have a go-round with Whats-his-name or anyone else like him again this year.
Let's look at the weekend of December 12-13 or 19-20, there shouldn't be any conflict there as long as the weather is decent. A vat of hot oil isn't very forgiving of water, be it rain or snow, and NO we will NOT use the deep fryer in the garage, you should see the flames Zack can produce with that thing. WOW!
If we have to we might consider the shelter where the block shoot happens though.

    Any thoughts or suggestions?
Brad, were you serious about donating a turkey?
If I entice Zack with beer I'm sure he'll oblige with his fryer.
We can take up a collection to rent the clubhouse for the day. (Of course major contributors of needed goods won't be expected to donate $$).

I'm up for it if I'm not working, we can always empty out a few 7.62x54r cases to start a fire in the burn barrels for the sissies

if Brad doesn't cough up a turkey, I'll bring the neighbors dog

Is your neighbor's dog a good enough hunter to get us a turkey on short notice?

so we dare not interfere with the brave hunter and his mighty centerfire rifle, but yet we would have no problem screwing the poor sap that thinks hunting the last season with a single shot blackpowder muzzleloader is a good time?

that's racist, why is it always about the guy with black hands?

Well I can't eat 3 birds all by myself. Hopefully the heart, liver, and gizzards can be fried as well. I have no problem bringing teh turkey. We need to have another one of our famous local eat & shoot deals, and December could not be a better time. Lets hope it's freezing cold and snowing outside. Best conditions IMO.

First of all, there aren't nearly as many muzzle loader guys as there are "regular" cartridge gun hunters, therefore there aren't nearly as many dickheads like we had to deal with last year.
In addition to that, the muzzle loader guys I know have a completely different personality than the aforementioned 'heads'.
That being said, you know as well as anyone else that if someone wants to sight in their gun while we have the place rented we aren't going to turn them away, that's how we met Mike and his son Hunter last year.
Besides that, some of the officers said we won't rent the range right before hunting season again so I figured I could move my birthday by a few weekends and we'll do it again without the hassle. Or should I say "without the asshole"?
