Default Look out Obama, here comes Ralph

    Nader announces another presidential bid

WASHINGTON - Ralph Nader is launching a third-party campaign for president. The consumer advocate made the announcement Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press." He says most Americans are disenchanted with the Democratic and Republican parties, and that none of the presidential contenders are addressing ways to stem corporate crime and Pentagon waste and promote labor rights.

Nader also ran as a third-party candidate in the 2000 and 2004 presidential elections. He is still loathed by many Democrats who call him a spoiler and claim his candidacy in 2000 cost the party the election by siphoning votes away from Al Gore in a razor-thin contest in Florida.

This is great news......Nader can siphon some of Obama's support away

This isn't the first time he's run. He's pretty not much more than a mild irritant to the main candidates.

I can't see voting for McCain, O'Bama, or Hitlary. I think this year I'm writing in EM for president. LOL

Nice! It is great news if only because his campaign will be self-parody.

In the past there were always a few blocks of liberals to peel off from D nominees, but against Obama what is he thinking? Obama is one of the most liberal D's in the congress and a protest candidate rolled into one. What voter blocks does he expect to pick up? I bet there are some states where he won't break triple digits! Watch how the press pressures him to drop out.

(Yeah, I am assuming it will be Obama. The NYT, mouthpiece for the D's, has starting running articles suggesting Clinton would make a great Senate majority leader, and slamming her in general. I guess the fat lady is warming up to sing.)
