    Default Coyote Hunting questions?

One of my friends has some nuisance coyote's coming into his property and getting closer to his house. I've never hunted them before but my understanding is they're legal to shoot all year.

Are there any do/don'ts I should be aware of? From my understanding even though it's private property and I'm not the owner I'd need a valid PA hunting license correct? As far as gun semi auto is good to go for coyote as well, any mag limits or anything else to be aware of?

you do need a hunting license. there is no restriction on hunting hours outside big game season. no orange is required except during big game seasons. there is no mag limit. a good decoy caller will be helpful.

Thanks, that pretty much clears up all the questions I had. He's going to look into some decoy callers and we'll setup in the field with a spotlight. Wish I had a thermal scope but never had much of a justification for buying one.

Give Russia, China and Iran a little more time and thermal stuff will get scarce and high.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

22 wmr is what i use for yote and fox. Yotes will circle around and see what your doing before you see them, skittish most of the time.
