Gives you an idea the force of these rounds.

Personally not the best thing to do. These products can fail, plus you keyhole enough rounds in the same spot and you can easily get penetration. Also bullet resistant glass can suffer under high heat and sun. It's probably a good idea to know the limitations of this stuff if you are in these vehicles that use these products.

I agree with you 100%

What most people don't understand (I'm sure plenty on here do, I am referring to less gun savvy people) is that most bullet resistant panels are only effective to stop an AK round at the very most, and much of it is only rated for standard handgun calibers/velocities. Anything more powerful is likely to blow straight through standard bullet resistant panels.

Texas Armoring Corporation (TAC), was tired of customers asking if his company's bullet-resistant glass in its armored cars actually resisted bullets. So the CEO asked his employee to shoot at him with an AK-47. It's loud, scary, dangerous, and completely awesome.

This is no different than the South American tailor, who designs Bullet Resistant Clothing, who has all his employees shot point blank range. Or Richard Davis shooting himself with a gun, normally given to him by the police present during his demos.
There is a disclaimer at the beginning of the video. It is hard to read but it is there.

This is not just some YouTube wannabes making a silly video. If you are going to trust your life to some piece of glass, wouldn't you like to know the guy selling it you has complete faith in his product? So if your in the market for bullet resistant glass are you are going buy from him. Or someone else who is too afraid to stand behind their product?
