Re: Man arrested in Shippensburg University gun incident
This kid is probably boned, I hope they have some evidence he was doing this besides rumors though. How did they catch up with him? What was the charge at the time?
Finally why the hell do they post peoples full freaking addresses in news articles...

Re: Man arrested in Shippensburg University gun incident
Easy. They just kick him out, like any other university in this state would. Carry a weapon with a permit and you're still on your way to a long suspension or expulsion. And until our legislators start doing something about the rights of college students and college professors, that's how it's going to stay.

Re: Man arrested in Shippensburg University gun incident
as far as I understand it he's not actually a student, but a student's boyfriend, so he's probably "banned" from campus,
without further info on the story I really don't know where this is gonna go, but to cause all this ruckus over basically a "carrying without a permit" charge, sheesh, the SU police tracked this guy the whole way to harrisburg and arrested him......I really liked the part where the student says , "She also said that hearing talk of a loaded gun on campus was "scary," adding "we don't want another Virginia Tech incident." get a grip.....

Read the article, and my initial opinion is he's wanna be gang banger.
edit:
She also said that hearing talk of a loaded gun on campus was "scary," adding "we don't want another Virginia Tech incident."Last edited by God's Country; August 2nd, 2007 at 08:30 AM.

Re: Man arrested in Shippensburg University gun incident
I'm curious to see if the gun was legally registered to him or not. Ignorance is no excuse for carrying concealed without a permit. It's guys like him that give us all a bad name.

Exactly, its not like the state police keep an illegal record of all gun purchases or anything...
