I went tuesday to talk to the PA State Trooper Recruiter. Once the application process opens back up I will be putting mine in and hopefully taking the next step towards to becoming a State Trooper.


Anyone put in a app and if so how did it go for you?

Put an app here in MD back in the early 90's, took them 8 years to call me back only to have them tell me they couldn't use me due to I didn't fit the quota requirements.

I hope that you get into the state police, it'd be nice to have somebody who's on our side, and actually understands firearms laws. Best of luck to you man.

Haha, trust me I know. I get so much hassle for open carrying all the time. I guess all they see is a punk 21 yr old who has a gun. I dont know. Would be nice to do some educating in the process. Especially to other cops and sheep.

I'm still here. Still in the waiting process. Haven't heard anything yet. I think the process goes till December 2nd. So I still have some time...

Im in the same position as you, I just took my polygraph, awaiting results. I hope that everything goes well, there is nothing that I want more than to be a Trooper.

I'd love to be in SWAT or even part of a K9 Unit...
