Permit to purchase/own handgun in PA?

Hello again. I require clarification on handgun ownership legality in PA. I understand that only a PICS check is required for handgun purchases, along with filling out a separate form. I also understand that no permit is required to own.

I'm more concerned about the handguns I currently own that were purchased out of state (Florida) and are now in my residence in PA. Do I need to register with any state entity my 2 pistols or am I legal as-is?

I had to jump through hoops to get my NJ pistol permit when I lived in Edison about 6 years ago. Not looking forward to that rigamarole again.

I concur. Only 5 states have registration - PA isn't one of them. We do have a record of transfer that is recorded. But that is for transfers that occur within the state commercially and privately of "firearms".

"Firearm" is a handgun with a barrel less than 15", a SBS, or an SBR.
