Default Where do you buy springs?

Alright, I'm in a pickle. I was messing with my Remington 597 last night trying to get the trigger pull down, and I noticed a spring was rather heavy. So...I tried to get a new pen spring but they're too big (outside diameter too large by about 1/32nd on an inch). I figured, well hell, Lowes will order me one. I just got back and they said they can't. I tried Century Springs, but you gotta have an account set up to order it. I tried setting one up, but it probably won't be set up till Monday, and if it is it gotta be shipped here, and god only knows how long that'll take.

Anyone got an idea of a spring commonly found in the house that can be used? I messed up the old one...so I either get a new one or I bring a full auto to the shoot on Sunday

go to the local conveniance store, buy a couple lighters, bic and other brand, all throw aways, take them apart and see whats inside, there are usually 2 to 3 springs per lighters... you might find th eone you need under the thumb push on a large bic, if not its in the small ones.

    Brownells or Wolff

Wolff is located in Newtown Sqare, PA so shipping is pretty quick and I like to buy from locals when I can.

None of the suppliers stocked the spring I was looking for so I tried Frenchy's idea of the lighter springs. Thanks for the help guys! I just popped two rounds off in my basement range and it doesn't have any full auto problems.
