Recommendations - Replacement of stock sights on P229 & Glock 17
Like the title states, gentle forum-goers, I'd greatly appreciate your recommendations on better open sights than the stock ones on my Sig P229 and my Glock 17.
These guns are used primarily for home defense, so night capability is a must.
I've seen Trijicon sights for both pistols. Anyone have any experience with those? And are there better alternatives?
Also, I plan to have Handgunner in Topton install. Good idea?

I like the XS Big Dot sight setup personally for my defensive pistols. I like the setup with just the front night sight and the standard rear. It works too, just put the dot on what you want to hit and there you go. I'm not a huge fan of 3-dot night sights but have used Trijicon and Meprolights with good results too. There are a few videos on youtube showing how the big dot sights work, and I think you'd probably be able to install them on the Glock yourself with the tools they provide with the sight kit.
